Strictly MDAR-following galaxies
25 May 2019
This is work I did for the UWA unit, PHYS3003, and is also a follow-up to my International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) studentship report. Although it’s typset in the MNRAS template, the work was never submitted for publication. Furthermore, the fact my ICRAR supervisor’s name, Gerhardt Meurer, doesn’t appear in the author list should not be seen as a claim to sole ownership, merely a reflection that I submitted it for one of my assignments.
A primer on spinors
24 March 2021
I provide a general overview of spinors from the point of view of Clifford algebras.
Higher symmetries of relativistic wave equations in curved spacetime
21 May 2021
The dissertation I wrote for my master’s at UWA.

30 April 2022
I provide a (currently slightly incomplete) pedagogical discussion of connections on differentiable fibre bundles.

Republic debate speech
07 February 2022
This was the speech from an unsuccessful audition I gave to participate as a speaker in a Cambridge Union debate opposing the motion, ‘this house would rather have a queen than a president.’
Some doom mongering
17 February 2022
This is a copy of the speech I gave in a Cambridge Union emergency debate proposing the (somewhat hysterical) motion, ‘this house believes we’re doomed.’
Russia debate speech
16 May 2022
This was the speech from an unsuccessful audition I gave to participate as a speaker in a Cambridge Union debate proposing the motion, ‘this house believes Russia is a distraction.’
A theoretical note on learning languages
06 January 2023
I estimate the minimum number of English words one needs to understand, so that the meaning of every other English word could (theoretically) be learnt with the aid of a dictionary.
